The Before inspection event is executed in the Inspect command just before the tools processes the images. The images processed are the currently selected images in the history list.

Typical commands:

• external data tools initialization
• io-signalling
• external system signalling
• prepare for new image acquisition (rarely)

Internal name:

• BeforeInspect

Note:

This event may be used to secure known states of external data tools, io-signals or other data before the image processing begins. The event will be executed each time the Inspect command is executed, either initiated by a command in another event or the operator presses the inspect button in service mode. Special care must be taken if Inspect command is called in this event, this might cause the system to enter recursively.
