Scorpion supports communcation over rs-232, tcp/ip and Profibus with the
built in communication components. Other protocols are supported using
ActiveX plugins or Python Scripting. The communication commands RS232Cmd, IMCmd and ResponseCmd are used to send
TDVCmdProtocol messages to other systems over RS-232 or tcp/ip to PLCs and
other host systems.
