Optical Character Verification - Beer Cans

A successful Scorpion application primarily based on TemplateFinder3 is OCV - optical character verification.

Assembly Verification - Presence Circuit Board

With a high resolution 2540 x 1920 color camera a circuit board image is captured.

Using a templatefinder the presence of components can be verified. A new components is teached by four mouse clicks. A board with 100 components are teached in less than 60 minutes.

The image below shows a 10 components being verified.

When higher resolution is required the camera can be mounted on a desktop robot to capture multiple images.
