GCPS -110
The tool produces a Scorpion 3D Image which is a point cloud based on a collection of images using Structured Light.

This tool is a part of Scorpion 3D Modeller.

Note: the tool is in perfect working condition, but the user interface as well as this help description are in a very early stage and not near finished. This page is also not meant to explain the Structured Light principles.


Setup

Configuration

  • Configuration file - externally generated file describing the structured light setup
  • Patterns - (read-only) - displays the number of images with structured lights. The GCPS will use this number of Scorpion images as input, starting from (and including) the tool's Image index specified under the General tab.
  • Reload - reread the configuration file
  • Output image - image where the point cloud is output and displayed (3D image)

Statistics

These settings let you filter the points that will be reported as Points and Statistics under Results. They have no other function than that.

  • Min contrast - count only points with a minimum contrast
  • Min/Max height (Z) - count only points within this Z range
