Scorpion offers a set of geometry tools. They are important when making measuring systems as well as describing the measurement task’s geometrical condition.  Below the tool PointFromLines constructs a point using two lines as an input.

The following tools are in the Geometry group:

• PointFromLines - construct a point from the intersection of two lines
• LineFromPoints - constructs a line from two points
• PointOnLine - used to construct a point along a line
• Angle - calculates the angle between two line
• NormalLine - constructs a normal line from a baseline
• NearestPointOnLine - calculates the shortest distance from a point to a line
• CenterLineFromLines - calculate the centerline from two lines
• NormalLine - normal line to an input line
• CircleLineIntersect - circle and line intersection
• CircleCircleIntersect - circle and circle intersection
• MovePolygon - moves a polygon
• MovePoint - moves a point
• MoveLine - moves a line
